Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Nydarria Brown and Mikya Williams Lead Stafford to Victory

Stafford won the last time they faced Harmony School of Innovation and things went their way on Friday too. The Stafford Spartans blew past the Harmony School of Innovation Mustangs 52-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Leading Stafford to victory were Mikya Williams and Nydarria Brown. Williams went 6 for 15 on her way to 15 points along with six boards and three steals, while Brown posted seven points in addition to 12 rebounds and four steals. Those 15 points gave Williams a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Deloni Hall, who earned seven points.

Stafford's victory bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Stafford will take on Sealy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for the Mustangs, they will square off against the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
