Basketball Recap: True North Classical Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

The third road match was the charm for True North Classical Academy, as they earned their first road win of the season. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-54 victory over the Coral Gables Cavaliers on Friday. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cavaliers, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead True North Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Boosie Swan, who posted 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Rodriguez, who earned ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

With the win, True North Classical Academy broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9. As for Coral Gables, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

True North Classical Academy and IMG Academy Black will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. True North Classical Academy is facing IMG Academy Black at the right time seeing as IMG Academy Black is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Coral Gables, they and Westminster Christian will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
