Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Groton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Deuel Cardinals 59-30. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers who have now won three matches in a row.

Groton has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Deuel, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Groton will face off against Elk Point-Jefferson at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. Elk Point-Jefferson will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Groton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Deuel, they will square off against Dell Rapids at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dell Rapids has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
