Basketball Recap: Pocatello's Winning Streak Snapped at Eight Games

It was a good run, but Pocatello unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hillcrest Knights by a score of 50-47. The Thunder were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March.

Pocatello's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Hillcrest, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Pocatello wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-59 win against Rigby on the 12th. As for Hillcrest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-35 victory against McCall-Donnelly on the 12th.
