Basketball Recap: Tri-Valley Takes a Loss

Tri-Valley and West Central squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Tri-Valley had to settle for second. They fell to the West Central Trojans 50-44. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Tri-Valley's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for West Central, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-8.

Tri-Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Central, they will square off against Dakota Valley on Thursday. Dakota Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully West Central likes a good challenge.
