Football Recap: Orange Grove Beats Edna for Their Fourth Straight Win

Orange Grove extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Daniel Bahn. The Bulldogs walked away with a 34-21 victory over the Edna Cowboys on Friday thanks in part to Bahn, who rushed for 238 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per carry. Bahn is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Orange Grove didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hughes Klatt and Orlando Carrillo.

Orange Grove's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Edna, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Orange Grove will challenge rival West Oso at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 14, the Bears 9.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Edna is set to square off against their familiar foe Aransas Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
