Volleyball Recap: Cypress Christian Takes a Loss

Cypress Christian saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell just short of the Weimar Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Cypress Christian sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-17, 22-25, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by SADE FAYELE and CONNIE QUAGLIA, who picked up six kills apiece. They were helped by ARYANA REYES and LILAH JOHNSON, who contributed seven assists each. REYES was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Cypress Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Weimar, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Cypress Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Round Top-Carmine on the 14th. As for Weimar, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against St. John XXIII on the 14th.
