Football Recap: Myers Park Starts Season with Victory on the Road + How To Watch

Myers Park had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Jay M. Robinson Bulldogs, posting a 37-6 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Mustangs just coasted through the last quarter.

Myers Park got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Josh Falzarano Jr out in front who rushed for 127 yards and two scores on only nine carries. Another player making a difference was Ramir Watson, who rushed for 100 yards on only five carries.

Jay M. Robinson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lj Watson, who gained 132 total yards, and Aury Greenfield, who threw for 135 yards and one touchdown.

Myers Park didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-18 victory against Weddington on the 29th. As for Jay M. Robinson, they have also already played their next contest, a 42-10 win against West Cabarrus on the 29th.
