Baseball Game Preview: Hancock Hawks vs. Long Beach Bearcats

For the second straight game, Hancock will face off against Long Beach. Hancock will host Long Beach at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Hancock didn't have quite enough to beat Long Beach and fell 5-4.

Hancock saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roston Ragon, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Those three hits gave Ragon a new career-high. Chace Brown was another, scoring a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

The win got Long Beach back to even at 8-8. As for Hancock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
