Softball Recap: New Castle Trojans vs. Tri Titans

New Castle extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 10-10 in the process. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-2 to the Tri Titans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

As for Tri, they will square off against Union City at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Titans are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
