Softball Recap: Bear Lake Takes a Loss

Bear Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Glen Lake, falling 20-10.

Bear Lake got a massive performance out of Peyton Buckner, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI and two runs. Natalie Brown was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI.

Bear Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Glen Lake, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Coming up, Bear Lake will challenge Manton at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Glen Lake, they will square off against Charlevoix at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
