Volleyball Recap: Peninsula Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Peninsula was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of River Ridge on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Seahawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silas Rams on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 25-20, 25-22.

Silas can attribute much of their success to Cameron Green, who had 15 digs and three assists. Those 15 digs gave Green a new career-high. Danielle Bardizian also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Peninsula has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Silas, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 9-10 record.

As of now, neither Peninsula nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
