The home team had won the previous five meetings between Patriot and Jurupa Valley, and Patriot kept the tradition alive. The Warriors won by a run and slipped past the Jaguars 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since April 10, 2025.

Patriot's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Noah Walker, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave Walker a new career-high. Dylan Angeleri was another, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Patriot kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.4.

Patriot's record is now 4-10. As for Jurupa Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Patriot and Jurupa Valley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Warriors see the field they'll take on Ramona at 3:15 p.m. on April 1. As for Jurupa Valley, their break will end when they face Adelanto at 3:15 p.m. on the 30th.
