Meanwhile, Cave Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Blacksburg, falling 3-0.

While Cave Spring was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Blacksburg's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 26-24.

Hidden Valley has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Cave Spring, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Hidden Valley took their victory against Cave Spring in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
