Football Game Preview: Milton Red Hawks vs. DeForest Norskies

The Milton Red Hawks will take on the DeForest Norskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Milton will be strutting in after a victory while DeForest will be coming in after a loss.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Milton and Fort Atkinson had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Red Hawks simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Blackhawks 39-7. The result was nothing new for the Red Hawks, who have now won five matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, DeForest was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 25-21 to Sun Prairie West.

Milton pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.5 points on average over those games. As for DeForest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Milton didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against DeForest when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 21-17 win.
