Football Game Preview: North Polar Bears vs. Bartlett Indians

The North Polar Bears will venture away from home to take on the Bartlett Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

North came into this matchup off a tough 26-point defeat last Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Assabet Valley RVT by a score of 16-14 on Friday. The Polar Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Bartlett's strategy against Abby Kelley Foster on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Indians blew the Bears out of the water with a 44-12 final score. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Bartlett's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for North, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

North was taken down by Bartlett 46-16 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Indians' Lawrence Smith, who rushed for 204 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 10.7 yards per carry.
