Volleyball Recap: Winneconne Falls Despite Big Games from Bailey Church and Hallah Josephson

Winneconne was the 3-2 winner over Menasha when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the loss, Winneconne had strong showings from Hallah Josephson, who had 12 digs and two assists, and Bailey Church, who had 16 assists and six digs. Josephson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Winneconne's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Menasha, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-7 record.

Winneconne has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Kiel on the 27th. As for Menasha, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against West De Pere on the 27th.
