Baseball Recap: Central Catholic Vikings vs. Butler Golden Tornado
Central Catholic extended their losing streak to six on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 4-8 in the process. They lost 11-5 to the Butler Golden Tornado. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Tornado apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.
Central Catholic got a good showing from Carson Pettyjohn, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave Pettyjohn a new career-low in walks (zero).
