Softball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat. They lost 17-0 to the Summer Creek Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 back in March.

King's loss dropped their record down to 2-25. As for Summer Creek, they pushed their record up to 23-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. King will face off against rival Goose Creek Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Summer Creek is set to take on their familiar foe Humble at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
