Cody came tearing into Saturday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Mountain View Buffalos with a sharp 5-0 victory. Give Cody's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

They hit Mountain View with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Carter Gail (2), Diego Morales (2), and Zane Balyo.

Cody's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six games.
