Baseball Recap: Hamilton's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Hamilton had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Quincy Trojans. Considering the Braves have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Patrick Matthews was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since March 8th. Another player making a difference was Hayden Boles, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Quincy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Hamilton has already played their next game, a 15-3 loss against Plumas Charter on the 1st. As for Quincy, they will venture away from home to challenge Chester at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
