            Basketball Recap: Bowdon Red Devils vs. Atlanta Classical Academy Cavaliers        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Mt. Zion, Bowdon was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  59-57  victory over the Atlanta Classical Academy Cavaliers. This was a revenge game for the Red Devils: when they faced off against the Cavaliers  last Friday, they had to take a  68-50  defeat.

 Bowdon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Kaiden Prothro led the charge by  dropping  a double-double with 12 points and 18  boards. Prothro is  crushing it when it comes to  rebounds: he's   pulled down at least nine every time he's  taken the court this season.  Timothy Johnson was another key player,  dropping  a double-double with 13  points and ten  boards.
The  win  got Bowdon back to even at 12-12. As for Atlanta Classical Academy, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matchups,  which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record  this season.
 Bowdon has already played their next contest,  a  63-57  loss against Manchester on the 13th. Atlanta Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
