Baseball Recap: Blue Ridge's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After a string of four wins, Blue Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 10-5 to the Bells Panthers. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Blue Ridge saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Brown, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4. Brown is becoming a predictor of the Tigers' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 3-7 when he doesn't). Micah Dickerson was another, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Blue Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Bells, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.

While Blue Ridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
