Volleyball Recap: Coretta Scott King YWLA Comes Up Short

Coretta Scott King YWLA was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hapeville Charter Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Soaring Eagle of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15.

Coretta Scott King YWLA's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Hapeville Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-8.

Coincidentally, Coretta Scott King YWLA and Hapeville Charter will both be playing Therrell the next time they take the court. The Hornets will host the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Soaring Eagle will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
