While Douglas's  victory against McQueen wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Lancers  10-9. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Annie Hill was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Ava Gildea, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Douglas was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .467. They are 14-1 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Douglas' record is now 19-7. As for McQueen,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 15-13.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Douglas is set to  take on  their familiar foe Spanish Springs  at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Tigers 4.1, the Cougars 3.8) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, McQueen will  face off against  rival Reed  at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
