Baseball Recap: Meigs County Extends Winning Streak to Four

Meigs County barely beat Harriman the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Meigs County Tigers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Harriman Blue Devils a 14-0 shutout on Friday. The match marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meigs County let Brody Goines and Adam Mason run wild. Goines went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs, while Mason went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Goines also put up two doubles, which were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Briar Roberts, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
