Woodside had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 44-0 victory over the Westmont Warriors. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won four matches in a row dating back to last season.

Daniel Torres had a dynamite game, rushing for 157 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 31 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run. Alex Valencia was another major influence, as he rushed for 98 yards and ran in a TD.

Woodside didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 41-0 victory against Mountain View on the 5th. As for Westmont, they have also already played their next contest, a 36-27 win against Fremont on the 5th.
