Baseball Recap: Pine Bluff Takes a Loss

Pine Bluff managed to slip by Fordyce the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Pine Bluff lost 19-10 to Fordyce on Tuesday. The Zebras were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Redbugs earlier this season, when they won 13-12.

Comarion McCoy was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). James Ento was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

Pine Bluff's loss was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Fordyce, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Bluff will welcome Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fordyce, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Drew Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
