Franklinton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keith James led the charge by throwing for 165 yards and three touchdowns. Franklinton also got a significant boost from Kalik Alston, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 83 yards.

Alston wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Franklinton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.

Wakefield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Franklinton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
