Preview: Lodi Rams vs. Lyndhurst Golden Bears
The Lodi Rams will stay at home for another game and welcome the Lyndhurst Golden Bears at 4:00 p.m. on February 13th. Lodi will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 265th, while Lyndhurst is ranked 126th).
Lodi posted their closest win since January 17th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Wood-Ridge and snuck past 43-40.
Meanwhile, Lyndhurst's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 37-29 to Westwood.
The losing side was boosted by Sam Mayer, who scored seven points along with six assists and three steals.
Lodi has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Lyndhurst, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.
Things could have been worse for Lodi, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-36 loss to Lyndhurst in their previous meeting back in January of 2017.
