After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Albany finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Doyle Tigers, falling 15-1. The Hornets' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Doyle, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-14-1.

While Albany had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
