Volleyball Recap: Our Lady Academy Crescents vs. West Marion Trojans
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Our Lady Academy had no problem doing just that on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the West Marion Trojans. Winning may never get old, but the Crescents sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
The win didn't come easy: West Marion scored at least 16 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-6, 25-15.
Kinsley Stegall was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 digs and two aces.
She wasn't the only good server: Our Lady Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matches.
