North Valleys has gone a perfect 10-0 against South Tahoe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will face off against the Vikings at 11:00 a.m. North Valleys is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.3 runs per game this season.

North Valleys heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They fell 6-2 to Churchill County. The Panthers were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the eight games prior), but the Greenwave's pitcher proved too tough.

North Valleys saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annaka Fischer, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, South Tahoe's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against Fernley, falling 12-5.

Michaela Irvin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Skye Nichols-Shipley, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

South Tahoe's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for North Valleys, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-10.

Everything went North Valleys' way against South Tahoe in their previous matchup back in April, as North Valleys made off with a 14-0 win. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
