Basketball Recap: Timbo Comes Up Short

Timbo had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 0-3 to make it five. They lost 79-56 to Lead Hill. Timbo was down 71-42 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

As for Lead Hill, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Noah Royce, who went 7-for-11 from beyond the arc on his way to 28 points and six rebounds. His big performance that afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Coda Lemon was another key player, shooting 83% from the field en route to 17 points and six boards.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Timbo will take on Flippin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lead Hill, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bergman at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
