Football Recap: Alden-Hebron Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Alden-Hebron can now relate to. They were beaten by the South Beloit Sobos 37-6 on Saturday. The contest marked the Green Giants' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

South Beloit was led to victory by Landen Reed and Jonah Martinez. Reed threw for 206 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes, while Martinez rushed for 73 yards and one score on only five carries. The dominant performance also gave Reed a new career-high in rushing yards (23).

Alden-Hebron's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for South Beloit, their record is now 8-2.

While Alden-Hebron had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
