It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact New Underwood can now relate to. They took a hard 68-53 fall against the Wall Eagles on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-32 back in January.

New Underwood lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zeke Enos, who posted 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Zach Henriksen was another key player, putting up 14 points and six boards.

Even though they lost, New Underwood was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. This was only their sixth loss (out of 19 games) when they've passed the ball that well.

Wall found their leader in sophomore Teelan Kjerstad, who shot 52% from the field to rack up 27 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Younger Amiotte, who scored eight points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

New Underwood dropped their record down to 13-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Wall, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

New Underwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wall, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 64-51 win against Sully Buttes on the 11th.
