Softball Recap: Taft Takes a Loss

Taft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Walton Wildcats, falling 19-2. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Eagles have lost by exactly 17 runs.

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Walton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taft will take on Truman at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Walton, they will challenge Stevenson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
