Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Charlotte Christian). They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Grace Academy Lions on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Charlotte Christian needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Their offense was hitting Grace Academy from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Maddie Efird led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Charlotte Christian's record now sits at 3-6. As for Grace Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charlotte Christian will host Charlotte Country Day School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grace Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carolina International at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
