Volleyball Recap: Stanfield Takes a Loss

If Stanfield was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Pilot Rock on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the Heppner Mustangs on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Stanfield's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Heppner, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stanfield is set to square off against their familiar foe Weston-McEwen at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Heppner will take on rival Enterprise at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
