Baseball Game Preview: Cape Hatteras Hurricanes vs. Hobgood Charter Raiders

The Cape Hatteras Hurricanes will face off against the Hobgood Charter Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Cape Hatteras got the win against Hobgood Charter by a conclusive 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won four matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Joey Lettieri was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Graham Stutts was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

This is the second loss in a row for Hobgood Charter and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Cape Hatteras, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
