After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Horn, Cedar Hill was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Mesquite Skeeters 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Longhorns have posted since August 23rd.
Cedar Hill was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 25-0, 15-0.
With the win, Cedar Hill broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 11-15. As for Mesquite, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.
