Softball Recap: Barr-Reeve Takes a Loss

After flying high against Princeton last Monday, Barr-Reeve came back down to earth. The Vikings came up short against the Bedford North Lawrence Stars on Tuesday, falling 9-1. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Stars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Barr-Reeve's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Bedford North Lawrence, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barr-Reeve will head out to take on Linton-Stockton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bedford North Lawrence, they will take on Jennings County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Stars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
