Baseball Game Preview: Belen Jesuit Wolverines vs. Florida Christian Patriots

The Belen Jesuit Wolverines will venture away from home to square off against the Florida Christian Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Belen Jesuit will be strutting in after a victory while Florida Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Belen Jesuit will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against TERRA Environmental on Thursday. Everything went Belen Jesuit's way against TERRA Environmental as Belen Jesuit made off with an 11-1 win. The match marked the Wolverines' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Florida Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Belen Jesuit, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6.

Belen Jesuit skirted past Florida Christian 3-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Belen Jesuit since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
