Vidor never let their opponents score on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Silsbee Tigers, sneaking past 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 on Tuesday.

The result came thanks to Kolt Holden's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

The win made it two in a row for Vidor and bumps their season record up to 16-11. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Silsbee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-11-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Vidor nor Silsbee have any future games scheduled.
