Volleyball Recap: Quad Cities Christian Wins Going Away Against Tri-State Christian

Quad Cities Christian lost to Tri-State Christian back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Huskies. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Quad Cities Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Tri-State Christian between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-17.

Jordan Britton was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Britton wasn't the only good server: Quad Cities Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tri-State Christian only served three aces.

Quad Cities Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Tri-State Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Quad Cities Christian will welcome Morning Star Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-State Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Unity Christian on the 28th.
