Recap: Max S. Hayes Lakers vs. Glenville Tarblooders
The Max S. Hayes Lakers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Glenville 77-47. Max S. Hayes has not had much luck with Glenville recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Glenville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dominic Scott, who scored 11 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorenzo Staley, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Max S. Hayes' loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Glenville, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.
Max S. Hayes will head out on the road to take on Clearview at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Glenville, they will be playing at home against John Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenville is coming into the matchup with 12 straight victories at home, so John Marshall is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
