Fleming County and Greenup County are an even 2-2-2 against one another since October of 2015, but likely not for long. The Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Musketeers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fleming County will be strutting in after a victory while Greenup County will be coming in after a defeat.

Fleming County will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Thursday, then bounced right back against Bath County on Monday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 4-1 win.

Meanwhile, Greenup County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 8-0 to Mason County on Tuesday.

Fleming County took their victory against Greenup County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
