Volleyball Recap: Disney II Falls Short of Chicago Washington in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Disney II can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chicago Washington Patriots on Tuesday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Disney II was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23.

Beckett Littleton paced Disney II's offense, picking up four kills. Littleton were helped by Chad Lee and Michael Barreto, who contributed three assists each.

Disney II's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-1. As for Chicago Washington, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Looking ahead, Disney II is taking a road trip to square off against Intrinsic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chicago Washington, they will be taking part in a tournament against Solorio at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
