Rise Kohyang took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They blew past the Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions 3-0. For the Tritons, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Rise Kohyang walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-14.

Elvis Garcia went supernova for Rise Kohyang, getting 34 assists and five aces. The dominant performance gave Garcia a new career-high in assists.

Garcia wasn't the only good server: Rise Kohyang was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Los Angeles Leadership Academy only one ace.

Rise Kohyang didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Central City Value on the 6th. As for Los Angeles Leadership Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Collins Family on the 5th.
