Soccer Game Preview: Ferris vs. Hoboken

The Ferris Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Hoboken Redwings at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.

Ferris is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Peter's Prep just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Marauders, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Ferris can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while St. Peter's Prep are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Hoboken ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Secaucus 4-3. The win was familiar territory for Hoboken, who have now won four matches in a row.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Hoboken, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
